Romain Olivares

Romain Olivares, a member of the Paris Bar, joins Revigny to create and develop the firm's restructuring/restructuring litigation practice.

Admitted to the Paris Bar in 2015, Romain Olivares began his career working alongside practitioners specializing in distressed company law, before becoming a partner at Squair in early 2022, where he developed his practice dedicated to corporate restructuring.

Romain Olivares is a member of the AJR and has taught corporate distress law for several years at the Sorbonne University of Paris I and the University of Paris-Créteil. He advises on out-of-court and in-court restructuring, as well as in bona fide corporate distress litigation.

At Revigny, a business law firm specializing in small and midcap M&A transactions with foreign clients (mainly US, UK and Middle-East), Romain Olivares will be setting up the restructuring department as a partner, and will be able to call on a team of associates to develop his practice.
